I’ve decided to drastically change my website: from now on I want to keep it as a journal for my creative endeavours. The pages for my pictures, blogs and family chronicles will receive a more sleek visual update. Also I changed the website language from Dutch to English, as I find the latter to be a more expressional language (where Dutch sometimes feels a little stiff). For my blogs however, I”ll keep writing in Dutch.
I want to make this a place where I can gather my material out of reach from social media. A place where I can work without the pressure of a controlled environment and more creative freedom. Every platform is trying to turn into TikTok at the expense of people sharing their stories and art! I miss the old school internet where you would write every thought and customize your personal pages!
A quick disclaimer is that for my blogs I use A.I. generated images, an attempt to give a visual representation of the subjects I’m writing about. It feels gross, so any artists who feel they could replace those images with their art: please contact me so we can work something out!
